warn winch help

warn winch help
ok so i got my hands on a warn winch for $40 and it works great hooked straight to battery. but all the solenoids are a mess. does anyone have a pic of there suppose to be wired? or maybe a way to wire up just Ford starter solenoids. im tired of with it its bout made me go crazy. any help with it would be awesome

for the love of all that is holy... do not use starter solenoids... you would be asking for trouble... under high loads for a longer time they sometimes fuse. Even if they don't fuse and destroy your winch they will heat up quick and will cause reliability issues. Starter solenoids have a VERY short rated duty cycle.
Go to the warn website and browse for your winch and look up replacement parts. If the winch is older then you can call them and get the part numbers for the replacement parts.

Thanks for the info, i think im gonna look into a new setup, i seen like a box that you hook all 3 wires to and then your switch. Looks more like a painless solenoids
