Wanting to upgrade my D30 w/CAD
So the seals on my D30 w CAD has a passenger side seal leaking.
That seal appears to be a pain to replace so I thought now would be a great time to do some upgrades.
One upgrade I'm thinking of doing is the one pice Passenger Axle shaft from a 95 and up Cherokee.
To do this mod I have sourced a Block off plate/seal kit for the CAD from.Rustys off road. PN ABK-12.The kit costs $18 with $17 shipping to my location. Shipping is a deal breaker for me...so what is the part number for the seal I'm gonna need to do this mod...I can likely source it locally. Ill get me some aluminum plate and make a block off plate and likely come out WAY cheaper...
What years and models does the seal I need apply to?

dont waste the money buying the plate and the shipping. Just use black silicone or but the paper gasket that comes in the roll and make your own gasket. But honestly I have just used silicone on the ones I have changed out before

get rid of the axle altogether. get a nice 95-99 d30. start building that
and the whole point to the 95+ axle shafts is the bigger 760 size ujoint. the best reasonable upgrade you can do to your D30 is grind the shaft ears to accept full circle snap rings
