4.0 I6 EFI to Carb HELP!
Why would you want to swap to a carb? Don't get me wrong, I like carbs. I will only run carbs on my motorcycles and classic vehicles that were originally carbureted, but not on a dd or a wheeling rig. There's no point in taking off a perfectly good fuel injection system to throw a carb on it.

^ yup. he wants to do it though, and frankly i'd like to see it done anyways. the dual weber set up would be cool...but not really worth it performance wise. we'll see what happens lol
here is a thread along the same lines, but with some good advice too...
and these guys sell a carbd propane kit for the 4.0 too.
either way, there are eleventy thousand threads on this if you care to google it...

Update
I decided not to go to carb on this project. That would take to much work for the performance gain when I could easily step up the injectors. Thanks for the info any way guys!

Off road a carb is a nightmare on hill climbs the front bowl will lean out for you. They do make off road carbs but they are pricey and mostly bigger 4 barrels. And if you never rebuilt or tuned one its not easy to learn over night either.
