Hack and tap or full kit? If you want/need hack n tap, iron rock offroad is offering free shipping for the rest of the year with a code on their website and alot of people seem to like their hack n tap kit.

Really want to go hack n tap but drillin is not my forte. I'm bad about breakin drill bits and drillin off center and run out of patience quickly

I've heard of people running the Jeep in drive while drilling and cutting so that the out put shaft acts as a lathe kind of. Maybe not while drilling actually but at least to make center mark. Personally I just opted for a full kit, because after factoring in the cost for a drill bit and tap, and the jig a full kit wasn't much more and was quite easy to install IMO removing the case was the hardest part.

Go full kit. The swap isn't bad on the work bench. Only took about an hour to drop the case from the Jeep, less time to put it back in once I got the tricks figured out. Had to pull the shift boot to get to the bolts on the top of the case.
