Use 8.25 yoke for SYE output?
well considering i surprised a group of people on this and jeep forum saying that stock ranger shackles were a little longer than MJ ones i find that to be false. sometimes just cause some people have not looked at it doesn't mean it wont work. the 8.25 may not work who knows until people try.
My point is... if you're trying to hack together an SYE, the first option any logical person is going to consider is reusing anything that's already on the jeep.
Here's the problem with your idea OP. The yoke off of the 8.25 attaches to the DS by u-joint straps. The end of the front DS that would attach to the t-case is a CV joint. They aren't compatible. Search over on NAXJA about using a TH350 yoke. Depending on who you know, you can use that and put together a HnT SYE for under 100 bucks.

If I wanted to spend 60 bucks I would just buy the Turbo 350 yoke. I can't find any in the pick and pull yard, the other yards will only sell the shaft. If I can't get the 8.25 yoke to work then so be it.
