Default upper link mount

ok, i've had this lift for about 3 weeks and i sware the upper links where it connects to the body moves. i can feel it. now, when i pulled the lift off the doner jeep. i checked all the bushing. they where all good. so, today i went out to the doner jeep and notes that the bolt holes where kind of obblong. has if the stock bolts are to small and the upper link moves back and forth.

i guess my ? is. has anybody else had this problem or should i have changed out the stock bolts to bolts that fits the upper link better and drill out the mounting holes to fit the larger bolts.

i'm running the 4.5" Rock Krawler short arm kit.

thank you for any info.

Do the bolts fit snug in the arms? I'm pretty sure I remember using the stock bolts for my old RK uppers.

It wasn't tight enough and wallowed out the hole, or just opened up bc its thin sheet metal. You'll have to plate it or weld a washer around the hole.
