Wassup People! I have a 1993 xj 4.0L,ax-15, 2wd. I looking at a 1994 xj 4.0L not sure wheter or not its manual or auto. My question is can a do a simple swap and put the 94 in the 93 with 93 ecu?
Also what is the compatability among newer years 93+. Does the transmission(auto/manual) of donor engine matter? Does the drive train (4wd or 2wd) effect the swap?
What precautionary checks do you do before u get donor engine? Compression Test do you have the engine run before purchasing?
