upgrading 4.5 to 6-6.5 lift?
Right now i have a 4.5" rc lift with the full 4.5 leafs, i found a good deal on adjustable upper and lower control arms, 2" coil spacers and 1.5" lift shackles, is it a good idea to buy that to give me like 6-6.5 inches of lift, i know i will have to get new shocks, but is there anything else i would need to do, like track bar or a bigger transfer case drop? Or anything else

LA or SA? You may need new trac bar, depending on if you have one designed to accommodate. Depending on the rake of your XJ now, that BB may cause you to be lookin skyward. You can get a brand new BB kit from anywhere online (for me fatbobsgarage.com was the place- def recommend!) it was like 100 bucks to my door for the 2" kit.. XJ's have notorious sag, so it may exacerbate the issue... My two Lincoln's...
Oh, and to the TC drop: why bother lifting if your just going to be putting you belly closer to the ground? My point is, don't do a TC drop. Instead, look into a SYE kit, a HnT if you've got the 242, and/or ~6* axle shims? The Combe would be far superior to the TC drop, which is kind of a bandaid.. Your going from 4ish to 6ish inches so I assume your not just mall crawlin... That said, keep your rig trail worthy!!! (remember, just my two Lincoln's!)

I've been contemplating this same thing. I have the same 4.5" RC set up.
I already have the 2" Spacers and the 2" RC rear shackles.
I know on the RC 6.5" kit comes with adjustable upper and lower control arms and a pitman arm drop and sway bar disco's.
I believe that Im gonna go with their Long arm conversion when I do this.
