Default Upgraded injectors

So I know the dodge neon injectors are an upgrade to the stock xj ones, as well are ford 5.0 injectors. My questions are what other ones can you use? And which gives you the biggest upgrade over stock xj injectors? Thanks.

Thanks! Now is it better to buy new? Or pull from a JY and clean up?

New is pretty expensive. You can pull from a JY and clean em yourself, or a few vendors (Progambo comes to mind) on here sells ones he's refurbished himself.

Definitely used. Just clean them real good and change the O rings and they're as good as new.

New injectors are like $70-80 a piece.

Yea i bought mine from programbo in the for sale section in miscellanious and they work great he cleens the good and puts new micro filters and pintle caps. For 70 bucks shipped. I figured i would spend that much buying from the JY and building them my self.

I have the ford 19s and have a noticeably smoother idle and pick up, but can't tell you the mpg loss or gain due to the fact that I haven't been able to go through a whole tank yet with driving without something that hurts mpg

Don't expect any mileage improvement. Just use that as an excuse to get the wife to support your purchase.

Well with how much grim and grease was packed up in some of those holes I would hope for an increase, especially since I want to get as much mpg as I can, I'm cheap lol

I did gain a tiny bit out of the gas tank. Definitely have more throttle response. It also seems I can cruise at the same speeds as before (55-60/65-70) at slightly lower RPMs. Starts a little faster.. never really had a problem with idle so can't comment on that.
