Updating/Replacing XJ Systems
Well, I have some major updates/replacements that I'm wanting to perform to my XJ this summer.
1) 86 the CB for a new two way
2) Replace the OME shocks that have 30k miles on them (blown)
3) 86 the Yakima roof rack
That's not really a lot, but considering that I'm doing this 800 miles from home it's a lot to do.
My spare and hi-lift stay on the Yakima so I was thinking about going with a rear bumper mount. My current rear bumper is a older styled JCR bumper so I was wondering if anyone knew of a kit to mount to the bumper that's already there (I don't feel like paying $900 for a new JCR rear that doesn't match the front). I'm thinking of maybe something like what is on the Xtreme 4x4 Scout that mounts off the recovery tabs already on the bumper.
I'd like to find a light bar (I'd be okay with building one) for a LED light bar up top.
I have no clue what I'm going to replace the shocks with…I've got a 3.5" Rubricon Express suspension so that may be a starting point.
Any ideas or suggestions are welcomed.

Won't work with my bumper due to the fact it would cover my receiver tube as well as not fit on due to the recovery tabs.
Here is the new style JCR bumper (which has the receiver tube and tabs in the same location).
Here's what I currently have to work with.
