OK. I'm sure this has been answered but I can't find it. I am installing a newer center console in my 93 XJ. I have the newer heat duct and figured out how to modify it so that it mates up properly. I have also got the e-brake handle solved to my satisfaction but, I wonder what people do about attaching the rear of the console to the floor? Do you somehow mount a newer style bracket and if so, is there a trick to aligning it? And, how did you modify the heat duct? I have both the original and newer style ducts. Maybe a simple sleeve to connect the new duct to the heat outlet under the dash?
Cheers!

I am having a similar issue where my 96 had the wrong duct under the lower dash and was missing the duct that goes through the console. I ordered both, but now am realizing that I think there are also brackets missing from under the center console, but I can't find pictures of a good set up.
