Uk model dampers/shocks

Uk model dampers/shocks
One for you UK owners
Would anyone happen to know if the rear dampers/shocks on a UK car are the same as the US models (it's a diesel too). I can't think of any reason why they would be but you know what thought did!
The reason I ask is that I want to order some of the Monroe coil over towing units from the US
I hate to admit this but this is my first post & I now realise I should have put it in the OEM section, apologies to the powers that be!!
