relocation bracket is what you should look at. RC's is pretty good, but check into Liquid Iron Industries as well. They're a little more money, but they're also one piece welded.

Shackle relocation bracket is the answer.
As you "lift" you're angling the shackle, so it negates the lift.
As the stock (or lifted) shackle is brought down 3/4-1" it also angles to 45* or so, removing 3/4-1" of lift. it will all even itself out without adding lift.

Did your kit come with the adjustable shackles? if so just go to the upper hole and you will lose the inch you gained from the relocation bracket.

I have RC 4.5 leaf springs. You have to measure from the top of the axle tube to the frame and compare it to the stock measurement. After I installed the leafs I was sitting at almost 6in. After they settled it was more like five. The shackle angle was horrific so I installed RC relocators and that increased the lift about 3/4in. Then I removed the 3rd leaf from the bottom and after settling down I am at exactly 4.25in with the stock shackle at 45degree. It flexes awesome. The stock shackle will hit the brackets on the sides when fully collapsed while flexing but that is not an issue to me at all. Also I am planning on adding a 1in shackle to improve flex as it will open/pivot more. But thats after I do an SYE.

Either way you go the bottom line is : The RC relocators used with the RC leafs and stock shackle will give you 3/4 in when the shackle is set up at 45degree angle.
