Default truss

So I'm new to welding and I have an artec truss and gussets. Should I give this a swing or I have someone who can do it for 250 or so.

How new is new??!!

If you can lay a decent bead, understand heat and penetration you should be ok on the truss. Prep work is key too.

Gussets, no.

Also what would you be welding with? What machine(amperage)?

Pretty new. I have stick welded before but I juts got a hobart handler 140.
Probably gonna just have my buddy buddy do it
