I have 6 of them. Havent mounted them yet cause they are round and I dont like round headlights on the XJ and I havent found a mounting bracket for them to use as a off road light. I have hooked one of them to the battery and holy $hit, they are bright!! And yes there is a NSN for them for the 12 volt system but they have the HMMWV connections. Im going to cut mine off and just hard wire them in!
edit: These are the ones I have minus the housing that it shows with it. http://www.truck-lite.com/webapp/wcs...5019&langId=-1

I'm very happy with them. Once I added up the prospect of
1) New Ceibie or Hella enclosures
2) New Wiring Harness
3) New Bulbs or HID kit
I just felt like I was going to be spending close to the same amount with the added burden of replacing burned out bulbs. These drop right in, don't require upgrading of the wiring harness because they draw lower current than incandescents and they're DOT approved unlike most HID kits, so I don't have to worry about blinding folks or being pulled over. The flood of light is really incredible.
