Amazon Link Amazon Link

Amazon have them listed as out of stock so I doubt anyone else will get screwed. That being said, they honored the original price so if you did order just get in touch with them, and ask them to compete the pair.

I got a pair from Amazon for $360 shipped. They arrived in two days. Be careful, though, because the ones I received are ECE (Euro or E-code) versions. They vary slightly from the DOT versions and may not be legal in your state.

I am planning to pick up a set to upgrade my headlights. I am not in a rush. Any sites that typically have sales coming up, like black Friday? I don't think I want to wait longer than that.

I'm sorry but I may be misunderstanding what you're saying here... are you comparing Truck-Lite LED headlights to cheapy eBay or Amazon LED light bars?

$300-$400 a pair for a set of headlights (the Truck-Lites) seems reasonable to me. It will take me a few months to save up for them, but it's worth the investment. $350 EACH for the JW Speaker headlights seems completely ridiculous. The light output for the TLs is better, it's a better LOOKING product, and the quality is competitive with the JW Speakers... that's one thing I will say, the JW Speaker is a quality product, don't get me wrong. But bang for the buck, TL wins hands down. In reality, the TL headlamps started in a similar price range to the JWS, but they have lowered their prices on them lately. JWS offers theirs from 300-500 per in most of the searches I've seen... and like I said that just seems unreasonable.

So we're not talking about the difference between a Rigid industries light bar and a Chi Poh Lyt light bar off of fleabay... we're talking about the difference between two top-tier competitors in the LED headlight market.

I don't understand this logic, even though I hear it quite often. This is what this is telling me....

"Hey, I just bought a $40k truck... now I can justify a $5k lift, $1500 in bumpers, $2500 in skid plating, $4000 in wheels and tires, and $15000 under the hood for performance modifications... 'cause it doesn't total the amount of my initial investment."

Meanwhile... "I'm not going to spend $1000 on a quality lift, $300 on quality headlights, and $1000 on quality built bumpers because I only paid 1500 bucks for the Jeep to begin with and I'll have more in it than that in parts if I do.."

So what? So now you have a kick-*** rig built for less than 4 grand TOTAL that can out-wheel the 40k dollar rig with 25 grand thrown at it... you'll NEVER get back what you put in to either rig, so why resolute to spending MORE initially to justify spending MORE on mods. I'd rather spend LESS up front so I can have MORE to spend later.

Just my .02

Oh... and revisiting the PUTCO harness debate... I've mine installed in my jeep for over 4 years now without any problem from the relays or even the harness itself.

Im just saying the TL are worth every penny. I would rather have high quality over pick a part systems put together. Just my opinion.

I always say "Its your money. Spen it however you like." TL, sealed beams, HID, it dont matter to me. Just my opinion.

Thing about lighting is the laws vary from state to state. What works or is legal in one, may not be in another. IE: I have XXX brand lights that are legal here in FL. While for CF member in CA, may not be legal.

PLEASE check into your state's laws and regulations first. Especially before you drop some serious cash on something you may not be able to use in your state.

In Texas they have to be white and have the DOT stamp on them. But they never check. They only care if they are not white ie you got them too much on the blue side. Yellow even seems to be OK since so many selaed bemas are so yellowish.
