Well, you do need bumpstops at some point, but they should be used to either keep the tire out of the inner fender (not the easily trimmed fender) if you dont want to rebuild that, or to keep the shock from bottoming out. They shouldnt be used to keep from having to trim the outer fender

How do you like those Dewalt drill bits? Ive got the same case and actually am surprised how well they cut for the price.

^exactly, and just as I said; they are an integral part of any suspension system and should always be present to control suspension stroke/range of motion.

Those aren't drill bits but rather quick-lock interchangeable drive heads; or what ever you like to call them. The index is the black case right next to them. I got it mainly b/c it comes with the extended Phillips heads; drives me nuts when the chuck grinds on what I'm working on.

If you didn't need em there wouldn't be so many on the market, so many write ups etc.... I'm with the bumpstop crowd.

anyways, i think i have the stock ones in there, but my coils won't even compress enough to see the bump stops anyways.

if i rub, i cut. i want to get the full potential of my hard earned suspension.

using bumpstops to restrict suspension is like lowering your transfer case an inch off your 4 inch lift. seems redundant to me.

carry on...
I know it was a joke. Im not trying to rain on your parade or anything. I was just giving him some advice.
