Default Transmission Overheating HELP!!!!

When I run my jeep or beat on it, the trans gets hot and sometimes it will start out in a high gear????

Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? It seems as though its starting out in a high gear after it gets HOT!!!

I have no idea what it could be.

Thank You

What size tires/gear ratio do you have?

Do you have an auxiliary cooler or just the factory cooler in the radiator?

How do your tranny lines look? Are they pinched anywhere?

What color is your tranny fluid? Nice red color, or is it burnt at all?
