Did you bypass the in rad cooler? I opted to go with the hayden 402, fits right behind the bumper. I'm a little concerned about airflow, but haven't had any issues yet. I'll probably wire up some 12v computer fans to it.

No I did not bypass the radiator, I wanted as much cooling as possible.

Nice, job. Try not to back out of a stuck in the mud. Mine acts like a backhoe and totally scoops up the mud. Kept me stuck also once

Haha I could just imagine, I spent a lot of time in mud when I lived in Louisiana and North Carolina. . If we didn't have to pull someone out of the mud that meant there wasn't enough mud. Now its just dirt, sand and rocks

i think its a pretty kool idea. i think itd be better if the skid was mounted flush against the frame like its supposed to. you have to yank the sway bar tho

ive got a taurus fan on mine and i use the extra 9'' of fan for a trans kooler mounted in the area behind the bumper

I believe his lift is a bit more that that shown in the pic. Monster and I are at approx. the same lift. I ditched my front skid after years of it never doing anything but sitting there.

It worked out great, I even tried to hit it and it did great. It is definitely high and far enough back. If any thing is going to hit the shield then it will also hit my steering and my axle when straddling something.

I installed the Derale switch and it switches on at 185 degrees and off at 165. $29.00 at a local performance shop (Yearwood Performance Center)
