Hello, I have a XJ that has a 6.5 long arm lift and my arms are connected to my crossmember which is bolted and welded to the unibody. I’m in desperate need of a transmission mount and I was going to see if there would be a way around grinding the welds off just to replace the trans mount. Thanks.

You aren't going to have a choice but to grind off those welds. I'd slap the crap out of the idiot that welded the crossmember on if you have the chance.
Youre going to have to grind them and hope thats all it needs. The PO may have welded it on for added strength, or the bolts and studs stripped out and rather than fix it properly, welded it on. So even with the welds ground off, you need to make sure those threads are ok.
