I have a 85 jeep cherokee its a 2.5 with a torqueflight 904 auto trans, 4 wheel drive. Trans is about out so im lookin at options. Im lookin at buying another cherokee same year but 4.0 and 5 speed tranny and 2 wheel drive. Does anyone know if there is anyway i can use this tranny on my 2.5 and make it 4 wheel drive? Or a possible engine swap and convert the tranny in the 4.0 to 4 wheel drive? Can i bolt a transfer case where the rear snout goes? May be some stupid questions but just tryin to figure out what i can do.
