Firstly,
Has anyone got one installed and what do they think? My Jeep is a 90%+ on road Jeep, but I do have a 2" lift (the OEM suspension was toasted) and 31'' tires.
That said, my Jeep is slow and seems to shift slushily...I have drained/replaced the trans fluid twice already (to get the old stuff out slowly). I did recently put in an '88 TCU and it's helped a little bit, but I came across the Transgo Shift Kit and was thinking be nice.
That said, if you like it, is it something that can be installed by a pretty competent DIY'er? Or should I try to a find a transmission shop to do it?
Here's a link to the kit: Transgo Shift Kit
Thanks gents,
-Matt

before getting into the trans you should adjust the TV cable and check all of the connections as well as the grounds. I would also check the TPS, that has a lot to do with how the trans shifts. Also with the 31's it is typical to re-gear to 4.10's to get back to stock driving feel. And if you go the route of the shift kit, I would have a reputable trans shop install it you have to remove the valve body in most cases to install a shift kit.

I know I'm asking for the moon here, but what does something like a shift kit installation cost? Am I looking at $200 or $500 you think?
I was watching some videos online and it seems doable...but so does rocket science when you watch a skilled rocket science doing something on video...so there's that

Excellent advice^^.
