Default Transfer case swap problems

I got a np231 out of a 97 Xj for my 98 xj and everything seems good but the plug next to the rear drive shaft is different.. How can I go about fixing it.
Can I just unbolt the old plug from my old tcase and swap them over or just cut the wires from the xj I got the case from and rig that up??

Correct, you'll have to remove them anyway.
