Default Transfer Case Dropping??

getting a 3inch rough country kit installed today and completely forgot to order a transfer case dropping kit. Ordered one and it wont be in for a week. Is my jeep still driveable without dropping it?

You probably won't even need that TC drop at 3".

it will be driveable but you may or may not have some vibration in your driveline

I doubt it, at 3 in. of lift I think you'd be fine. I ran a 1 in. drop when I had 4.5 in. of lift and had no vibes. But if you're not comfortable with driving it then wait till you get the drop kit.

Go drive it and see if you have vibes lol you sound afraid of them, which i guess is understandable if you didnt even install your own lift... You more than likely dont even need a drop kit. Go drive and see

My 88 had 5 inches of lift, no tc drop or SYE..

Looks like you have a 99..you may or may not need a tc drop..most likely not..you may have small vibes but its a toss up. Drive it..if there are vibes install the kit..

If not..sell it.

Pretty much all XJ's are different. I'm running 3" on 31's and have no vibes w/o a TC drop or SYE.
