Default transfer case drop problems. bolts holes wont line up

most problems people are having is getting the studs out. i got my studs out no problem. i unbolted crossmember to put the spacers in. now no matter what i and ive tried everything i could think off i cant seem to get the bolt holes on the frame rails to line this is the only thing holding my jeep up from being on the road and its driving me nuts. i jacked up the TC that didnt help. its lik the hole trans and tc need to be picked up and moved. has anyone else had this problem? or am i just retarted?

Try loosening the trans mount a little that might give you a little more front to back movement to get it lined up.

I had to do ALOT of pushing and shoving to get the holes lined up.
find what ever leverage you can, straps, crowbar, floor jack what ever to move it where you need it.... one bolt at a time

Hook a ratchet strap to the mount and the other end to the rear of the Jeep there is a small hole in the unibody rail thats perfect for it and crank the ratchet strap untill it lines up.Worked great for me.

Just try one bolt on each side, that will let it move around more, then stick in the last 2...

haha, wondered same thing, but i think they are just a PITA. i like the ratchet strap idea! had to use my highlift and chain to pull axle into position to replace a lost lca bolt. ("whys it so squirrely all of a sudden??", "have you looked underneath at all?", "no"... silly wrangler owners with all their money )

i've always had pretty good luck using a drift punch to align in one hole to the frame then jack it up with a floor jack.
