Default adding buget lift to existing 2 in

i just got a 97 xj sport it already has a 2 in rustys lift on it wth 30s.. my ? is....wth the existing 2 in lift can i put put a rustys budget boost on and get it up to 3.5-4 in? i did a search but no results came up.

What is your current lift made up of? You shouldn't put coil spacers on top of coil spacers ext. You will run into the fact that you need longer lower control arms.

Pick up a complete kit, if budget is an issue you can save a couple of bucks on a AAL kit.
Like brutalxj said, pucks on pucks..... well not a good idear

i dont think the coils are ext. they are 1 continous spring i think they are the 2 in lift spring from rustys and the backis the add a spring

Then to add to it you will need adjustable lower arms, adjustable track bar, pucks, and shacks for the rear.

it already has the rustys adj. track bar...thanks for the quick response guys... i guess my next ? is ....is this a waste and i should drop the 600 on a 4.5 lift or can i save some money this way. and put the green backs toward the motor that needs rebuilt

If it were me I would buy some spacers, used lower arms, shacks, and a used good running motor. Then call it good. With how well these motors are built I would never spend the cash to re build one. Just buy one used and do a seal kit. Unless I wanted a stroker.
