Default transfer case drop

I have had my transfer case drop for my 3" lift for a few years now. It works fine, and I am not ready for an SYE.

It seems that I whack my crossmember on a rock everytime I go out.

Has anyone modded the stock crossmember to give a 1" drop, maybe even added a transfer case skid to it and keeping it at stock height?

I happen to have an extra crossmember around, and I can always use some practice welding

BTW, my son Jon likes the smileys, so we will have some in this thread :head ::donate llo:

I have been told that the crossmember on a 5 speed jeep is lowered 1 inch from the factory. Don't know if thats true but could be worth looking in to.
