Trans temps, how do you monitor them
Putting a new cooler on mine, and is there a port to monitor temps on the tranny, or what are you guys using to monitor temps on your tranny?

There is a port on the AW4 that I have seen used. It is just in-front and above the forward cooler line.
Ideally use two sensors. one in the port for actual transmission temp and one in hot line that will read fluid temps directly from the torque converter.

I tapped the line coming from the pan to the cooler with a compression T fitting to an analog gauge in the dash.
