Tranny

Anyone know anything about removing the tail housing in a 2wd transmission and putting a transfer case on? I think it can be done just not sure

Wont work, you need a 4wd transmission.

Engine: 350 sbc, 4.0 HO

Depends on what kind of tranny. I did it on a TH350 when I swapped in a 350/350 combo. Needed a new output shaft and tail housing. Got it from Novak. Had the shop swap in the output shaft during the rebuild. So it can be done, but don't know what kind of tranny you are talking about.
