New to forum,hello all. Just picked up a 99 jeep cherokee classic 4 door,with the straight 6. Bodys in good condition and runs well. Ordered a hitch reciever,that is supposed to fit,but doesnt. Not enough clearance on side plates for bumper? Is this common or probably just wrong hitch sent. Thank you in advance.

 

 

Yea pretty straight forward. The hitch i bought didnt fit. It was a magnus hitch,and although there website said it fit a 99 classic jeep cherokee,it didnt. The side plates wouldnt sit flush on frame. They refunded me after more than a couple photos,let me keep hitch. Ordered new one. Ill be all prepped for this one ,broke loose the 2 bolts on shield for gas tank. Thanks for response,the different vids always offer some different aspect than the other.
