Is anybody here running a traction bar for the rear. It doesn't seem that many xj people do. But a lot of yj guys do when they go to spring over axle. I was just wondering if I should fab one up, or if it would be unnecessary. Are there any downsides?

I think they mainly do it to prevent axle wrap don't they? I know why the muscle car guys do it. But yeah I'm not sure either.

what leaf springs are you running? unless your xj is spitting out S shaped leafs or you're getting bad hop, or snapping driveline parts due to wrap

I wouldn't bother with a traction bar
