I have a 87 XJ AW4 i want to know can i tow it behind my motorhome ... What do i need to do besides buy a tow bar. Is removing rear DS a must. Any answers will help thanks guys

 

Do the usual to a vehicle being flat towed behind another vehicle via towbar, or dolly.... What i do is shift the trans into neutral and also shift the t-case into neutral... then your done... also leave the key in the ignition turned forward slightly to let the steering wheel still turn with the tires

 

If it's 4wd just put the t-case in neutral, 2wd remove the drive shaft and find a way to cap off the tranny because all your fluid will drain out.

Get the transfer case into neutral. Shift auto trans into Park and manual trans into any forward gear.
