Heres my setup made of 2"x2"x1/4" wall square tube, 1.5"x1.5"x3/16" wall legs, & 3"x3"x1/4" thick angle for the front mounts. The rear are mounted with a (iirc) 4"x6" square tube I cut in half to make (2) 3"x4" C's to rap around the frame, & bolt threw. the front is held on by (5) 3/8" bolts tapped into the frame per front mount. The back has (2) 5" long 1/2" bolts threw the frame, & (1) 1' long 1/2" bolt threw the leaf hanger per side. Then a bunch of bolts on the pinch weld... They're not going anywhere haha

 

I have a set of Rigid Fabrication sliders for my XJ (Not installed yet)

They bolt to the uniframe in 2 places, and bolt to the pinch rail in 5 places. I'm very happy with the finish and attention to detail, The price was great also ($190) Terry is great to deal with I'm planning on getting a pair of his bumpers in the future.

Two more pics I found. These are great quality. The best piece of equipment I have on the Jeep so far. I really did not know how often I would use them until I got a set. They are not only there to protect the body. They help "pull the Jeep through" a rock until the rear wheel touches it for grip. Couldn't be happier with them.

 

I personally like cutting out the rocker and welding in a slider with some bracing. Stiffens the rig up some and no bolt or self tappers to rip out. Jeep is at my shop or I would take some pics.

 

Sorry for posting three times in a row. I am a bit technologically challenged. Couldnt figure out how to resize the pic and now that I finally got it I dont know how to edit the post to include one more image. Here is the last one, I promise.

 

I cut out my old rockers and redid them with 2x6x.188. Moved it all up quite a bit and braced them with 2x2x.25 to the braced unibody which is plated with 3x3x.25 angle. Then I built my new cage off it. I cannot take credit for the cage work. I designed it and enlisted the help of my buddy Eric (Dr. Smash) in Carson City to build it for me. I did all my suspesion work but don't have access to a bender. He did a great job and it was exactly how I drew it up.

The key is the strap on the top of the sill, it provides a nice surface to weld to. Still have to tie it in, I'm going to cut the remainder of the 2x6 chunks i have and attach them to the unibody.

 

JCR stage 3. I liek them a lot. compaired to msot I have seen I think they have the best on the market....

 

I have TNT Sliders. I really like the way they mount. It gives you a lot of flexibility if you have frame reinforcement.

Here's an idea of how I mounted mine. (you will need to remove, & slightly bend the gas & brake hard lines for this.)



Also note: the legs to mounting plates are not at a 90*. I recommend mounting your plates to the frame then marking the angle you need to cut the legs to frame, so they angle up slightly.
