i don't have any close ups of my cage apparently(i thought i did) and i would go take pics but its wrapped up under a tarp and under 1 1/2 of snow LOL
but here's a pic from the back


and one from the front, it's completely tied in from front to back. but after easter i'm redoing a few things on it.

the only side shot i found. yes i know it looks goofy in the back, just running it til i find the killer deal on coil overs so i can stretch it

here's the most recent hybrid exo i built. this one is tied in from front to back also.


that's all i can find at the moment, sucks looking on a phone.

Here is my T&J cage, I added a bunch of bars and changed the way it fit by rebending some bends.

Here is the front hoop tie in to the unibody rail, Plated with 3/16" plate.

The rear tie in.

The rear hoop lands on the rear shackle pocket so it is not bad for strength.

Rear belts (top) and front, go to the cage.

Internal cage is 8 point cage, going to be mounted with 9"x9" 1/4" steel.
Front exo cage actually came off a yoda, was cut and shortened to tie into the internal cage, front ties into the bumper (working on a new bumper to tie it into, ignore that horrible front bumper.)

I haven't seen many jeep cages with the tubes coming down in the middle of the windsheild. Is there a certain reason you fab it like that? Just wondering.

I'm still not sure what I'm going to do with the windshield, I would like to make it street legal which means I need a DOT approved windshield. I like the way the cage was done in the front but I think it's going to cause too much of a blind spot... Not to mention with the windshield blocked it's probably not street legal in CA anyway...

The cage originally ran through the dash, I didn't feel like cutting into the dash and was wanting to keep the windshield, this is what it looked like in the 89 I pulled it out of.

At least it's a good start. You can always mod it to fit your needs when you get the chance. I have no cage, only a 2" b 'n' b lift and only about a year and a half in jeeping....... still learning and dreaming....sooner or later my jeep will get there.
Same. I'm still debating on how to do the front. The gauges aren't a huge issue, I can always put other gauges in. The blind spots on the other hand...

so whats your guys opinions on harness mounts? are you guys mounting them in single or double shear? im getting ready to re-do my seat mounts/harness mounts and just wondering what your guys opinions are on the best way to mount them.

my new ones are wrappped. but my old ones were mounted single sheer and had no problems with them. if your going to compete tho you will need double sheer. either way works great in my opinion.
