Total Front End Rebuild
Hi all, got my Cherokee all tore up right now. Most of the front end is out right now. I work in a truck garage, and the director of transportation there is building a 2000 Cherokee right hand drive model. He ordered all new parts for pretty much everything and accidentally bought a standard left hand driver Rugged Ridge HD steering assembly, drag link/tie rods etc. So, he gave me the whole setup for free, which started my tear down. Now, I have removed the drag link, steering stabilizer, tie rod, knuckles, hubs, axle shafts, sway bar, trac bar, and pitman arm. While I have it off, I figured I might as well replace all of it since most of it is worn out and old. A couple questions being, my Jeep having a lift on it, somewhere between 3 and 4 1/2 inches, should I invest in a drop pitman arm so the angles on my tie rod ends aren't so steep? Best steering stabilizer? I can get a free brand new rough country one from a buddy, unless they're total crap.

You want the angle of the tie rod to match the angle of the track bar. Only get a drop pitman arm if it helps them become more parallel.
Make sure to get an adjustable trackbar to compensate for your lift.
Rough country stabilizers are fine, they are not all that necessary anyways
