Took off rear sway bar and rear raised up .75 inch

Default Took off rear sway bar and rear raised up .75 inch

I took my sway bar off for flexing reasons and my rear raised up .75 inch after the removal (tape measure verified). Is their any reason this happened?

Maybe because it weigh a ton and removing it lightened up the load?

Yeah it happened because you rear axle isn't tied to the under body anymore.

Sounds like your links were to short and holding it down. Rears are pretty useless anyway on an XJ.

I only noticed about a 10% difference in cornering. and its bone stock so I dont think its the links. Might have to chalk it up to a gremlin

Only possible reason is your sway bars were very rusted around the body joints. actually holding the springs back.
