I found a nice set of TJ half doors with the removable soft top for less than $50. I am shopping welders (as you may have noticed) and have been curious if the soft door top half is useable with an XJ door, or if the whole TJ door?

I see the striker would need modification, based on what I've read. Fitment could just be ugly.

I'm still pretty much sold on the XJ fab to half door, but if even the soft door halves are useable with the xj door (in understand fab would be required), I'd probably pick these up.

I'm just teasing the idea of a soft door half and figured a factory piece is better than anything I could construct. I just don't have experience with the TJ doors and don't know if any pieces are useable, if not the whole door.

Anyone who's had the TJ doors - advice appreciated.

TJ no, but YJ/CJ7 soft doors are almost exactly the same as 4 door XJ front doors and fit with very little modification.
