The Dana 44 has 30 splines and the Dana 30 is 27 spline so no it won't work.

They will work if you get a 30-spline locker. Have some to go with my 30-spline ARB. Don't think they make regular carriers in 30, but I could be wrong.

That's correct.
But there are arb's for 27 spline dana 30 too.

Once upon a time back in the day, you could get standard D30 side gears in 30 spline from Dana. Not sure about now
