Tj d44 axle shafts in a d30

will shafts from a tj d44 work in a d30?

Engine: 4.0

The Dana 44 has 30 splines and the Dana 30 is 27 spline so no it won't work.

They will work if you get a 30-spline locker. Have some to go with my 30-spline ARB. Don't think they make regular carriers in 30, but I could be wrong.

That's correct.
But there are arb's for 27 spline dana 30 too.
