Default tire spacers

im thinking about adding 1.5" tire spacers to give my jeep that aggressive stance but im unfamiliar with spacers and im not sure if a 1.5" spacer is alot or a little!!! is it even worth it?

thanks for the input!!

Get rims with less back spacing instead of spacers IMO. 1.5 should be fine as long as you run the spacers correctly and check them often. You might have to trim your flares though

new soft 8s with the correct b/s would be about the same price if not cheaper and ALOT safer. i wouldn't do it imo.

Bayrat... if you're not familiar with Back Spacing heres a link http://www.bing.com/search?q=Wheel+B...IE&adlt=strict

basically spacers are expensive, easy to forget to check often, and potentially dangerous is not checked. get new wheels.

Get yourself a wheel with 3.75 backspacing and you'll have that stance you want.

Don't use wheel spacers.

If you like your current wheels, keep them and get the spacers.. I have run spacers on my last 3 Jeeps and never one issue so don't let people tell you not to run them. As often as Jeep people have their wheels off their rig anyway you will have plenty of oppertunity to check them. They are a great product that do exactly what they are meant for.

if you use spacers make sure that you use loctite if not they will come loose if not checked often.

Here is my thing... Wheel spacers ain't cheap.. You can get 4 jegs d windows with proper backspace for cheaper than you can buy 4 wheel spacers.

The jegs wheels are only 44 bucks each. That's what I have on my rig.. Love em.

im running 1.5" wheel spacers with stock eccos and a 32x10.50
drive daily, wheel just about every weekend, and have the wheels off just about as often..have never had a wheel spacer come loose.
loctite, torque wrench, star pattern torque sequence.
lots of **** and abuse, no problems.

I ride stock canyons with 31/10.5 tires and 1.25" spacers while driving trails/rural back roads/highway from my house in NJ all the way (300 miles) to my school in PA to the occasional DE drive about (180 miles) and have had no problems yet knock on wood
