I'm getting a 3"rough country lift on my 91 Laredo and was looking at 33" mud terrains. Will they fit without shaving my fenders? And if I have to shave them down how do I do it?

I have a 3.5 inch lift and am running 31's with no problems. As far a trimming the fenders do a search, lots of info on here on how to trim fenders.

Do you want to run aftermarket fender flares like bushwacker? If you do wait to cut the fenders tell you get the flares.

^ then he isn't set up correctly. OP, you could probably do it, but not without cutting your fenders a good bit, and you'd need to set your bumpstops all around. I'm considering 33s on my Zone 3" lift when it's installed, and I already have Bushwacker flat fender flares...it still might be a little tight. Also, to prevent rubbing, a more offset wheel helps a lot. 3.75" - 4" backspacing.Originally Posted by jbsjunk

~4" with 33's. 31's and no trimming fit with no rubbing whatsoever. 33's... not so much. With proper bumpstops and trimming, anything is possible.

I have a 3" lift in this picture and running 33x12:50x15's on 8" wheel's . The fenders were trimmed even running 31x10:50x15's on same wheel. If your suspension is working/setup properly the flex will get you.

//The wheels I'm getting have a 4" backspace. And about how much larger bump stops do I need for the 33"s? And methods of trimming? I work with power tools all day every day but what would I use? Plasma cutter? Sawzall? High speed grinder? I'm a bit sloppy with the plasma cutter
