So I've been doing my research and I'm getting mixed results...
I'm looking to get 265/75r16s Goodyear Duratracs on my Cherokee with 2in spacers in the front and a 2in Add-a-leaf in the back, with stock limited 16in rims.
I've been all over the forums looking at pics with different combos (some people's work, others don't)... but I'm afraid I'm still gonna rub my fender flares, especially while turning. I DO NOT want to cut or trim to make these tires work, but I'm probably gonna get some Rusty's LCAs for better turning.
Does anyone know if this will work for me? I've got 255/70r16s with little tread and those don't hit the flares (even stuffed into the wheel wells but I'm not planning on flexing with these new tires)
Let me know what you guys think and if you have any pics of this combo please post them.

That will be fine... You might get LCA rub but you said you are getting rustys anyway... Not many people here keep the 16's so getting a pick might be hard

Aren't 265s a little bigger than 31 inch tires? I could be wrong. I have 31s with a 2 inch spacer lift and they rub my fenders at the bottom when I turn.

I'm running 245/75R16 with 3" spacers, but it is an Up Country package which sits about an inch higher. When I wear these tires out I will get 265/75R16 because I have plenty of room. I had this tire wheel combo without the spacer also, and it never rubbed.

Hey no worries man we aren't conflicting.
No offense to whoever posted the 245s but he's asking specifically about 265s with a 2 inch BB. With your 3 inch plus UpCountry you are significantly higher than stock + 2.
I have your lift in question, and 265s (I'm pretty sure) are very close to 31s. It only rubs when I turn even though I appear to have room enough. I'm also running wheel spacers which keep me from rubbing the LCAs. Rim diameter shouldn't matter, a 31 inch tire is a 31 inch tire regardless of whether it's a 15, 16 or 17 inch rim. Your amount of sidewall is what changes. I am not 100% sure if this applies to metric sizes like your 265s in question though.

In metric sizing you can't tell the tire height with just the first number, it's relative to the second.
For 2" you can run 30s without rubbing, 31s with a little rubbing if you don't bumpstop or trim. 32s will fit with trimming. Anything over a 235/75 will rub on your LCAs at full turn on stock backspacing.
Here's mine on 2" and 32s:

I don't rub at full flex without swaybars. I'll go to 33s without adding any more lift and I'd run 35s with another inch.

I'm not planning flexing these into the wheel wells.

Same. I run 2" spacers in front with a 2.5" AAL in the back. I trimmed my lower front endcaps and the back of the front wheel wells a little bit. I rub a little bit when going around sharp corners like parking lots etc but its not bad. My swaybar is also disconnected so that might be part of it. Youll probably have to trim man.
Whats interesting is the lift really does not matter.
Its what will fit inside your fender well. 30's, yep, a wider 31 or 32,33. Not with out some light trimming and/or bump.
The lift actually just adjusts your ride height. In other words what you would prefer.
I was running narrow 32's with a 2in lift. Now 3in. NO DIFFERENCE. 32's will require a little bit of bump (1.5in front and rear) whether you have no lift, or 4.5 in of lift.
Lift does not matter nearly as much as people make it out to be.
If you want 33's. Fine. Now your fenders will need slight trimming for this. So what lift? Where ever you want your truck to sit at.
A different way of looking at it but it holds true for the most part.

your 265's are gona measure just under 32". 2" boost isn't enough.
You'll need 4.5" without some trimming or stock guards in place and with stock rim some 1.25 wheel spacers so you don't rub the control arms.
3.5" will let you run 31's.
The 2" boost will only let you go to 30" tire dia.
