You're absolutely right man. Everyone's gotta formulate their own opinions. Just to clear things up though cause I think you misunderstood, when I said I had heard too many horror stories about spacers/ adapters, it was more reading than just " I knew this guy who knew this guy who knew this guy who knew this guy's cousin who had a bad experience with spacers". I've done plenty of searching up on them, cause I used to want them . Not just on this forum but on jeepforum, yotatech, the various wrangler forums, etc etc. My point is by the time I had sorted through all the various posts/ personal accounts people had with that type of modification, it had left more than enough room for reasonable doubt FOR ME. You're right, we all take a chance every time we modify our vehicles or just take them wheelin', that something will break or malfunction. I personally, let's say, am too chicken to take the risk on the spacers not being mounted properly or them wearing over time and snapping, as it does happen. Does this happen ALL the time? No. OP asked for advice on spacers and I'm just tossing in my bit, from a guy that used to be in the same spot.

Once again bro, hope I didn't bring any offense to you. I am in no way by any means trying to kill your business or slap you in the face for the sake of arguing. If I did, then I truly apologize.

No apology necessary.
You are stating your beliefs and I'm not offended by that in the least.

No hurt feelings here.

The D-30 steering stops are tacked with a weld. usually it's just the nut tacked to the bolt.

Sometimes they are both tacked to the steering knuckle though. I used an angle grinder to cut the weld from the knuckle. A small chisel finished the cut & the washers were used, leaving the nut tacked to the bolt.

Yes this lessens the steering radius, but it is hardly noticeable with 31's.

I needed 3 washers per side too.

Someone mentioned re-drilling the track bar's axle mount to center the axle.

With my 3" lift, a professional alignment job centered it.

Bump steering, what I have is what happens when you hit a bump and then the steering wheel darts around.

Oh my steer wheel is not centered when driving down the road. Its to the left. I was wondering if that had something to do with the 2 inch lift and 31 im running?
