Tire rubbing? Spacers?
I am running 31 inch bfg ats and they are rubbing because they are on stock rims, I plan on stepping that up to 32 inch bfg mt on the same wheels, I was thinking about running spacers to keep them from rubbing. I like my stock wheels and I dont wanna buy new ones, any suggestions I have heard spacers are "bad " but I have not heard why. any other tips to fix the rubbing?

The stops are held in place with a bead of weld, FYI... Do you have stock LCA's? If so then get some tubular style LCA's. Rustys sells some custom bent ones to accommodate for stock rim back spacing. Or instead of spacers, adapters are an acceptable route. Spacers just sit in between the rim and hub, but adapters bolt to hub and the. Rim bolts to adapter. Much stronger.http://rustysoffroad.com/mm5/merchan...gory_Code=ARMS

spacers are junk. Adapters are ok, adding an adapter is adding another fail point, and they can break, I've seen a few crack and break. they are not a horrible option jsut buy the nice ones, not the cheap crap. my issue with spacers are that the quality ones cost the same amount as steel wheels with the proper back spacing. a new wheel is a stronger, and better option.

the thing is that the short radius is only 1 us away and spacers the cheapest are at least 120 the 4 and the spidertrax that seems to be the best cost about 200 us the set , so which one do you think im choosing being a poor guy jejej!!
