Tire rub PROBLEMS!!
99 xj
3 1/2 - 4 inches of lift (bastard pack rear and coils/coil spacers in front)
33" bfg km2's
So only on the drivers front side when i'm flexing does it rub bad.
I basically cut away and banged out as much of the outer and inner fender as possible.
So now the tire literally rubs on the firewall area of the fender... Would control arms fix this? Im scared my tires gonna break through into the cabin lol

Sounds like the tire is allowed to much up travel.
Control arms may push the axle forward, but they will not stop that uptravel.
I dont think a trac bar would either.
Bump stops set to the right length would, tho.

Can I get a link to some bumpstops?
That seems like it'd do the trick! I get rub when im just going down the road sometimes too though o_o
I have a new adjustable trac bar but the cotter pin in the castle nut on the tie rod end rusted off and I cant pull it off so I cant get the stock bar off.
I also have some control arms but the damn bolts arent budging with my impact. I hate this thing.
