tire pressure doesn't matter as much for mud as it does for rocks, just run street pressure or slightly lower.

You don't want the bead to unseat or the tire to slide on the rim. a higher pressure will force the treads into the ground/mud also instead of deflecting away from it. You actually want less flotation in mud, so the tires dig into solid ground below the mud instead of slipping and sliding on top of it.

yeah but i was thinking that they might be too soft and wear too fast. my XJ is my daily driver so i was looking for something a little more durable for street as well as good performance on road.

I run 15. I bought 35" km2's brand new and sold them within 2 months because they sucked so bad in the mud. They don't clean at all in thicker mud.

If you're not set on the km2's go for the Goodyear Duratracs. Get em on TireRack.com too. Great price really good tire

Just saying they're about $200 cheaper for 4. They're siped so better wet manners and they do just as good as the km2 off road. Neither handle the sloppy thick mud well since they're not spaced wide enough. The duratracs lasted longer about 45k to 37-38k on my km2s and are quieter than the km2. Ive had both and I know how it is buying tires. You want whatever you want I'm not trying to diss just something to think about if you haven't looked at em yet

25 on road
anywhere from 15 to 10 while wheelin.
different applications different pressure.

if you get beadlocks you can drop it below 5 for certain situations.
