Tire carrier

i wouldn't even bother, especially with the fiberglass hatch.
if you're so set on doing it. i would weld uprights to your bumper so the carrier can mount to it.
but at that point, may as well just fab up a common swing mount carrier.

+1. That carrier would bolt to your stop lights and fasten to the wiper lol. Fiberglass may not be a problem if you do it properly and stay with a small tire size. The OE XJ carrier secures via a reinforcement plate in the quarter panel, the bumper, and I believe has a plate inside the hatch that it locks to. That carrier there would need a bunch of fab to support it like caged says, at that point might as well build your own.

I stock carrier has a plate with welded on nuts on the rear passenger 1/4 panel that is about 4x6.
It has the latch build into the bumper & a rubber snub on the hatch.
I'm going to mod my Bronco II carrier & hang it off my exo cage.
