x2 for the duratracs. i run 33x12.5x15's on my cherokee in all conditions and never had an issue, also not a lot of road noise if thats an issue.the march 2012 issue of jp magazine did a test on these and many other tires and the duratracs rated pretty well.i would recommend you read that article as well before making your decision.

I do like the duratrac, great tire, but not agressive enough for my type of wheeling.
I am running KM2's right now, drive 50 miles a day, and they are great.
Awesome in the rocks here.

Last night I picked up a friend who lives way out on country roads that only get plowed if there's a big snow fall. Under 5" they just drive through it. Anyhow the roads were pretty well packed down to less than an inch or two of snow and a lot of ice. Drove down the roads like it was a dry dirt road. My friend asked me two different times if I was in 4wd and when I said no thought I was messing with him.
These new tires and stabilizer have taken away my death wobble as far as I can tell. But I'm still acting like an abused dog when it comes to going past 50! Last thing id want is death wobble at free way speed.

i like the BFG all-terrains i have on my XJ. im running used (about 50% tread) 31"x10.5" on stock (and very saggy) suspension and they only rub at full flex.

the tires are very well behaved on the road, good to have on a daily driver since they dont wear out like mud tires. Great in the snow too, its almost hard to break traction in 6in of wet snow on the roads. as ford offroad and mud, i think they grip pretty good, sure they arent MTRs, boggers, or anything, but for how good they are on the road, they do surprisingly well in my open diff XJ. and i never aired down lol.

i like them alot , my XJ is a daily driver and after i do my lift its getting 33" all terrains.

old MTR's are the worst sidewall ever made. wonder why they went to the new design? terrible sidewall. New MTR's are one of the best tires out there. Look at all the true wheelers. What are they running? Kevlar MTR's.

How about the KOH coming up next month? Again new MTR's will be the number 1 tire.

Duratrac seems to be a good all terrain tire.
