Tcase drop question
My question is, if you drop the tcase to resolve vibe issues at the rear, wont you be increasing the front driveshaft angle and therefore be shifting the vibes from one problem area to another? Just something I was thinking about

Yes you will be making the front driveshaft run at a worse angle. Luckily the front shaft is does not spin all the time on most Cherokees. That and the front shaft is a Double Cardan joint so it doesn't bind like the stock rear does.

Nevermind now, I didnt realize the front shaft has a DC joint until I just now searched the homebrew sye.
crbnfibr, thats actually incorrect, as you drop the tcase 1", you are actually tilting it rather than dropping it, so to speak. Now if you "dropped" all three components, eng, tranny and tc, then you would be going "back to acceptable angles". By not dropping all three is the reason I thought you would be increasing the angle on the front shaft, which technically you are, but I didnt realize the front shaft had the DC joint, so now my question is basically void
