Tapered Knuckle Inserts
Does anyone know if a tapered knuckle insert is available to convert back to standard Jeep taper and size?
Reason I ask is... I've tried the 1 ton route with an Inverted T set up. However since I had to bend the tie rod at the ends to clear the Diff cover Maybe it is allowing for extra rotation and flex int he tie rod and passenger tie rod end. Here is a video link. This rotation or flex in the joint (even with a ruff stuff cure) makes for a dead spot and not a very good driving set up.

How old are those tie rod ends? That's quite a bit of roll they've got going on. If its a relatively new set up it should be tighter than that. You could always try heim ends instead of the tie rod ends. Just make sure you get good heims with the safety spacer that keeps them from falling apart completely if you go that route.

I thought the cure was supposed to go on the end of the drag link that connects to the tie rod?
Not the end of the tie rod. Yeah heims or a crossover steering setup like wj is way to go. That's alot of roll, your drag link to tie rod is moving way too much. Somethings not right there.
You running a drop pitman arm?
