SYE Necessary on a 3 in Lift?

SYE Necessary on a 3 in Lift?
I grabbed a 3inch lift kit from rough country. I wanted to go w/ the 3 inch since im not planning any rock crawling or anything intesnse, just wanted to replace my stock stuff. Anyways after I've got this kit in im reading on here that even w/ just 3 inches of lift I can still get some driveline vibrations.
Seeing as a SYE and a CV driveshaft are pretty expensive, and since I'm only doing a 3 inch lift I was thinking of just going ahead and doing a transfer case drop. But I've heard some negative things about the drop Specifically stress on the engine mounts. Is that something I should be worried about on just a 3 inch lift? I'm not trying to temporarily fix one problem and just create a more major issue later on.
Sure down the road I'm gonna want more lift so I know I'll need that SYE but money is tight at the moment and I wanted to put that off for a while.
Thoughts or comments??

Like others have said, it shouldn't be needed. Plenty of people run without one. But at the same time, having a sye is better then not having one, especially for a lifted vehicle.

Even after you do the lift you need to let it settle. I also did a 3” loft that was probably 4.5” at first with some vibrations but after puttin some weigh in the rear and some time it is a lot less with very little vibes. I’m still goina do the SYE but not a necessity

I did the RC 3" lift with LCA's / AAL's on my '01 DD, while you don't "need" a SYE on that small of a lift, I did end up having pretty bad driveline vibrations at 45mph. I installed the Rusty's drop cross member and all the vibrations were gone.

2 years with the dropped crossmember, no issues what so ever and I towed a small camper with it.
This is what I used;
Rusty's 1" drop cross member

NP, definitely do the lift 1st and see how it goes. Some get the vibe some don't. The crossmember drop down spacers are a lot cheaper of course, but are cheezy in my opinion. I liked the Rusty's crossmember, was heavy duty and well made.
